Sakura petals already started to fall. And when it falls, it looks even more beautiful. Each petal is very light weight and could be easily carried away by the wind, making it look like it falls in slow motion. Which is both magical and romantic.

Utsunomiya Futaarayama Shrine

Call me sentimental, but the view of hundreds of petals falling from the trees just gives me that good feeling inside I cannot explain. It’s like falling in love with the scenery.

It usually takes a week after the full bloom before the petals fall. And it only takes a few days before the tree becomes totally green.

I went to Utsunomiya Futaarayama Shrine(Map), Utsunomiya Hachimanyama Park(Map), and Tagawa River(Map) to see the Sakura trees there. I took my time taking a few shots, but trying to capture those small petals moving is not easy.
